i wish i knew how many things they were going to add to the movies. i already have the vhs special addition. will the dvd be the same as those or is even more being added. also how much is this thing going to cost.
going rate is $70 but you can pre-order it for like $45
Even more is added, and BAD, BAD stuff. You know when Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Yoda appear in spirit form at the end of the battle of Endor? Well, they are removing the original Anakin, and putting in HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN, you know, the worst actor EVER!!!
They are also removing the original Emperor and adding Ian McDiarmid in his place in some scenes, AND changing DIALOG!!!
Also I believe they are removing Luke's scream in Empire when Vader tells him he is his father.
Other stuff too...

One day I will put my original movies on DVD... they are the widescreen, original editions which have only gone through the VCR once...
I don't mind special editions as long as the original is included. Since Lucas is so enamoured with what he could have done I won't be getting this set.
I am curious to see the final result of THX though... that's a DVD I'll probably pick up.
